WATERTOWN, NY, November 24, 2008 –Seaway Valley Capital Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: SWYV) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Hackett’s, has drawn the winner of the $1,000 Shopping Spree E-Mail Sweepstakes. Of over 6,000 entrants, Karen Moseley of Rodman, NY was selected by a random drawing organization.

The sweepstakes, which began in early October 2008 and ended on November 16th, 2008, was organized to promote and increase visitors to Hackett's new website, www.hackettsonline.com. Promotion of the sweepstakes was done through the ten Hacketts locations and online advertisements.
